Καλώδιο Δικτύου ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 10m

The ShiverPeaks U/UTP Cat. 6 10m networking cable is a 10‑metre unshielded twisted pair cable designed for Ethernet networks requiring reliable high‑speed data transmission. It uses Category 6 specification wiring to support data rates suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and includes RJ‑45 connectors with gold plated contacts to maintain consistent conductivity and reduce contact corrosion. The cable's red jacket provides clear visual identification within racks or office cabling runs while maintaining flexibility for routing and installation.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat 6 performance with U/UTP construction to balance near‑end crosstalk control and installation simplicity. Gold plated RJ‑45 plugs improve signal contact quality and long‑term reliability. A 10 m length covers mid‑distance runs between switches, wall outlets and networked devices without the need for extension couplers. The red color aids in cable management and quick visual differentiation from other lines.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches, routers and computers
• Home and office network cabling where a 10 m run is required
• Patch panel to wall outlet or desk connections in small server rooms
• Temporary setups at events, training rooms or presentations

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6 (meets Category 6 performance parameters)
• Cable type: U/UTP (overall unshielded twisted pair with no individual pair shielding)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: RJ‑45 plugs
• Contacts: gold plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Color: red jacket for visual identification
• Application: suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and typical LAN deployments

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 end to the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other end to your device's Ethernet port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference; maintain gentle bend radii and secure with cable ties or organizers where needed. For permanent installations, verify performance with a cable tester if exact certification is required.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 6 cable for standard Gigabit network links up to the 10 m length. Keep it separated from high‑voltage power lines to reduce interference and avoid excessive bending or kinking to preserve signal integrity. For environments with strong electromagnetic interference or where individual pair shielding is necessary, consider shielded cable variants.
