Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS75717-HY κίτρινο 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75717-HY Yellow 7.5 m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable provides a Category 6 rated link for local area networks and point-to-point connections. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and terminated with RJ-45 connectors plated in gold, this 7.5 m cable is intended to deliver consistent signal integrity and reduced interference. The yellow jacket improves visibility in structured cabling runs and makes identification straightforward in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting reliable data transmission at Cat6 performance levels. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts enhance conductivity and resist corrosion for sustained connection quality. The 7.5 m length covers mid-range distances between network devices without the need for extensions, while the yellow outer sheath aids rapid identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in home or small office networks
• Wiring patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling environments
• Temporary or permanent links where cable visibility is important
• High-speed Ethernet applications up to Cat6 performance

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Category 6 (Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil plus individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered off or that the network environment allows live plugging. Insert RJ-45 connectors fully into the network ports until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If using a patch panel or keystone jack, verify correct pair alignment and termination practices for Cat6 cabling. After connection, confirm link status and data transfer rates via the connected devices or network diagnostics.

Recommendations

To maintain Cat6 performance, avoid exceeding recommended bend radius, keep the cable separated from mains power cables where possible, and use appropriate cable management for strain relief. Periodically inspect the RJ-45 contacts for dirt or damage and replace the cable if shielding or connectors appear compromised.
