The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.15G is a 0.15 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for short patching and close-proximity connections, this cable supports high-speed Ethernet links and provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference through its shielded construction.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP construction reduces crosstalk and external interference, which helps maintain signal integrity in environments with multiple cable runs or near electronic equipment. Cat6a performance enables support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet at short distances while RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard network ports. Its short 0.15 m length minimizes cable clutter and loss for point-to-point connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and patch panels within a rack or cabinet
• Short connections between network devices in home or small office setups
• High-speed links in dense cabling environments where shielding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 0.15 m
• Suitable for: up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet at short distances

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks into place. Use this cable for direct device-to-device connections such as patching between a switch and a patch panel or linking adjacent networking equipment in racks. Avoid sharp bends and ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain reliable contact and optimal data transfer.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this 0.15 m Cat6a S/FTP cable in short, intra-rack or adjacent-device connections where shielding is beneficial. Keep the cable routed to avoid tight bends and excessive strain on the connectors; avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical lines to maintain signal quality.
