Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.15

The ShiverPeaks BS75711-A0.15 is a 0.15 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding and factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for short-distance, high-speed connections, this cable supports gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where a compact, shielded patch lead is required. The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, maintaining signal integrity in dense cabling environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable delivers stable high-frequency performance and reduced interference due to its S/FTP shielding. The short 0.15 m length minimizes signal attenuation and clutter in patch panels or between closely spaced network ports. Durable RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact and a reliable mechanical fit, while the robust jacket offers basic protection against wear in typical office and server-room conditions.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches and servers
• Connecting network interfaces in rack-mounted equipment
• High-speed workstation or desktop connections
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Length: 0.15 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Supported data rates: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances
• Conductor type: twisted pair
• Typical jacket: flexible PVC or similar low-profile material

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the cable for short, direct links where minimal length is required to reduce slack and maintain tidy cabling. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and do not stretch the cable; route it through appropriate cable guides or within rack panels to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this short S/FTP Cat6a cable in shielded network environments or where neighboring power lines and electronic equipment may generate interference. Verify that connected devices and patch panels provide compatible shielding bonding if full system-level shielding is required. Replace the cable if connector contacts show wear or if the jacket becomes damaged.
