Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS75205-100HSSP

The ShiverPeaks BS75205-100HSSP is a 100 m Cat5e networking cable with SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding designed for reliable Ethernet and data transmission in small and medium installations. The cable’s construction includes individual pair foil shielding and an overall braided shield that reduces electromagnetic interference and preserves signal integrity over the full 100 metre length. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible runs while offering mechanical protection for the conductors inside.

Advantages

The cable combines Category 5e performance with SF/UTP (S-FTP) shielding to limit crosstalk and external noise, supporting typical Ethernet applications up to 100 Mbps and higher depending on equipment. Its 100 m spool length simplifies deployment for horizontal cabling runs or longer point-to-point links. The outer sheath and shielded pairs increase durability and stability of the signal in environments with potential interference from nearby electrical equipment or cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Office Ethernet cabling and horizontal runs
• Home networking and multimedia connections
• Patch panels and structured cabling systems
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (S-FTP) — individually foiled pairs with overall braided shield
• Length: 100 metres
• Colour: grey outer jacket
• Conductor configuration: twisted pairs suitable for Ethernet
• Intended use: data networking, Ethernet links, patching

How to use

Measure and plan the run to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius where possible. For terminated connections, strip the outer jacket carefully, preserve pair twist as much as practical, and use compatible RJ45 shielded connectors or keystone jacks designed for SF/UTP cable. When installing in racks or conduits, secure the cable without compressing the shield and ensure proper grounding of the shield at patch panels or network devices when required by the installation practice.

Recommendations

Use shielded connectors and ensure a continuous grounding path for the shield to achieve optimal interference protection. Avoid running the cable parallel and in close proximity to high-voltage power lines; cross power lines at right angles if necessary. Store unopened spools in a dry, temperate environment to prevent jacket distortion before installation.
