Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS08-42052

The ShiverPeaks BS08-42052 is a 5 m Cat8.1 networking cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It features U/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transfer. With support for data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and a vivid yellow jacket, this cable combines performance and visibility for professional and home network setups.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding structure enhances protection against electromagnetic interference, while individually foiled pairs maintain signal integrity across the cable length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion to ensure stable connections over time. The 5 m length provides flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within rack systems, and the bright yellow outer jacket makes the cable easy to identify in dense cable installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area network (LAN) links requiring Cat8.1 performance
• Connections between switches, servers, and patch panels in data centers
• Home networking setups with fiber or high-bandwidth modems/routers
• Audio-visual systems and streaming devices that demand low-latency wired links

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Length: 5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Color: yellow

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until a click is felt, ensuring proper seating for signal continuity. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks—maintain gentle cable radius and route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. When used in patching or rack environments, label both ends if required for quick identification. No special configuration is needed on network devices beyond standard network settings.

Recommendations

To preserve performance, keep the cable run within recommended lengths for Cat8.1 applications in your installation context, ensure connectors are free of debris before mating, and avoid repeated sharp bends near connector heads. For installations near power cabling or heavy electrical equipment, maintain separation to minimise interference despite the cable's shielding.
