Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BS08-41055-4 5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BS08-41055-4 5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP networking cable is designed for high-speed wired connections in demanding network environments. This Cat8.1 cable supports higher bandwidths and is constructed with overall foil shielding and individually foil‑shielded pairs (F/FTP) to minimise electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, making the cable compatible with common switches, routers, patch panels and network interfaces that accept shielded Ethernet plugs.

Advantages

The cable’s Cat8.1 specification provides support for high-frequency data transfer and improved headroom compared with lower-category cables. F/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity in crowded cabling environments. The 5 m length balances flexibility and reach for rack-to-desk or switch-to-patch-panel connections while maintaining consistent performance over short to medium runs. Standard RJ-45 terminated ends allow plug-and-play installation without specialized adapters.

Suitable for

• High-performance local networks and data centres
• Direct connections between switches, routers and servers
• Shielded environments with potential electromagnetic interference
• Professional workstations, AV installations and home offices requiring reliable wired throughput

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Length: 5 m
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Use: Shielded twisted pair Ethernet

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a compatible shielded network port on a switch, router or NIC and the other end to the destination device. Ensure that connected network equipment supports shielded cables and has proper grounding to take full advantage of the F/FTP shielding. For best results, avoid tight bends and kinks; maintain gentle cable routing and secure with cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Install this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short to medium in‑rack or point‑to‑point links where high bandwidth and reduced interference are required. Verify shielded connector compatibility and grounding at both endpoints to preserve signal performance and EMC benefits.
