Καλώδιο δικτύου shiverpeaks BASIC-S Μπλε 2 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Blue networking cable is a 2 m Cat7 S/FTP patch cable with standard RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. Designed for reliable data transmission, this Cat7 cable combines high shielding performance with a compact length suitable for desktop, rack or patch-panel connections. The blue jacket provides a visible, organized look for structured cabling in home or office environments while the S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic and crosstalk interference for stable, high-speed networking.

Advantages

The S/FTP design (shielded foil around each pair plus an overall braided shield) improves resistance to external electromagnetic interference and minimizes pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting consistent throughput. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs enhance conductivity and reduce contact corrosion over time. With Cat7 performance, the cable is suitable for high-bandwidth applications and supports modern Ethernet standards within its specified length. The compact 2 m length limits excess cable clutter and keeps signal quality high for short runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, workstations and network switches in offices and home networks
• Linking routers, patch panels and wall outlets in small server rooms or network cabinets
• High-bandwidth applications such as HD video streaming, online gaming and large file transfers over short distances
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required (near power supplies or other cabling)

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 (backward compatible with Cat6/Cat5e standards)
• Shielding: S/FTP — foil shielding around each twisted pair plus overall braided shield
• Length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: multi-strand copper for flexibility
• Outer jacket color: blue
• Typical applications: Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet within supported distances

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as routers, switches, network cards or wall outlets until the latch clicks. Ensure connectors are fully seated and not bent at sharp angles to avoid strain on the cable or connector. For rack or patch-panel installations, route the 2 m cable without tight bends and avoid running parallel to mains power lines to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best results, use this 2 m Cat7 S/FTP cable for short interconnects where shielding and signal integrity are important. Avoid extreme bending radii and keep the cable away from strong interference sources. Verify that connected hardware supports the desired Ethernet speed and configure network settings accordingly.
