Καλώδιο δικτύου shiverpeaks BASIC-S κόκκινο 20 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Red 20 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is designed to provide reliable wired connections for high-speed networks. This 20-metre cable conforms to Cat7 performance levels and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors are fitted to improve contact quality and minimise signal loss across the link, while the red jacket provides visual distinction in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to deliver enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance for extended connector life. The 20 m length accommodates longer runs without the need for intermediate patch panels or extenders. The cable’s Cat7 performance supports higher bandwidth and improved margin compared with lower category cables, useful for demanding network applications.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired Ethernet connections in homes and offices
• Connecting network switches, routers and NAS devices over medium-length runs
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is required
• Structured cabling where color-coding simplifies identification and maintenance

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 performance level
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 20 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Jacket colour: Red

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring bends respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to avoid degrading performance. Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the corresponding Ethernet ports until they click. For installations through conduits or structured pathways, verify that the shielding continuity is maintained if grounding is required by your network design. Test the link speed and signal integrity after installation using a network tester or the connected devices’ diagnostics.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or major sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the cable’s shielding in conjunction with proper grounding practices when installing in industrial or high-interference environments. Choose the red jacket to simplify cable identification within patch panels and racks.
