Καλώδιο δικτύου shiverpeaks BASIC-S κίτρινο 2 m Cat7 S/FTP RJ-45

The shiverpeaks BASIC-S networking cable Yellow 2 m Cat7 S/FTP RJ-45 is a two-metre Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission and interference-resistant connections. Constructed to Cat7 specification with individual pair shielding and an overall foil shield (S/FTP), it supports stable performance in environments with electrical noise. The RJ-45 plugs are fitted with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and reduce oxidation. The bright yellow jacket provides easy visual identification for neat cable management in home, office, or data centre setups.

Advantages

This Cat7 S/FTP cable offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference thanks to its individually shielded pairs and overall foil shield. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts promote reliable signal transfer and long-term contact integrity. The 2 m length balances flexibility and convenience for short to medium patching runs, while the yellow outer sheath simplifies tracing and organization among multiple cables. The cable is compatible with standard RJ-45 ports, enabling straightforward installation without special adapters.

Suitable for

• High-speed internet connections and Gigabit/10 Gigabit Ethernet networks
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels and network devices within racks or workstations
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is required
• Color-coded cable management in offices, server rooms and multimedia setups

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 (Class F)
• Shielding: S/FTP — foil overall shield with individually shielded twisted pairs
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2 metres
• Conductor arrangement: twisted pairs
• Outer jacket colour: yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your network device and the other plug to the corresponding port on a router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension or contact with power lines to maintain signal integrity. For best results, use the cable for direct device-to-device connections or short patching between network equipment within the same rack or room.

Recommendations

Where electromagnetic interference is present, maintain proper grounding of network equipment and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use the yellow colour for organized cable labelling and separation of network segments. For long-distance links beyond the recommended length for copper Ethernet, consider fiber-optic solutions.
