Καλώδιο δικτύου shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 2m πράσινο U/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable, 2 meters long and finished in green, is designed for reliable high-speed data connections. It uses U/FTP (Unshielded twisted pair with foil shielding per pair) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, supporting bandwidths up to 10 Gbps for typical home and office networking environments. The cable’s build balances performance and flexibility to suit patching, workstation connections and short runs between network equipment.

Advantages

The U/FTP shielding around each pair reduces crosstalk and improves immunity to external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded variants, helping maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. Cat7 specification support and solid connector termination enable stable 10 Gbps links over short distances. The cable’s outer jacket provides flexible handling and resistance to everyday wear, while the 2 m length offers convenient reach without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to switches and routers
• Patching within wall-mounted patch panels and network cabinets for short runs
• Home network setups including gaming consoles, smart TVs and media players
• Small office networks requiring shielded cabling to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 2 meters
• Shielding: U/FTP (foil around each twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Supported bandwidth: up to 10 Gbps (typical over short distances)
• Color: green
• Jacket: flexible outer sheath for indoor use

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network device ports until the latch clicks. Use the cable to connect computers, switches, routers, patch panels or other Ethernet-enabled devices. For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending or sharp kinks and keep the cable away from heavy electrical equipment or power conductors that may introduce interference. When routing through cable trays or conduits, ensure the bend radius is maintained to prevent cable deformation.

Recommendations

For best results in 10 Gbps links, keep runs short and use shielded-compatible networking equipment or properly grounded patch panels. Inspect connectors for secure seating and replace the cable if the jacket or connector shows visible damage.
