Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1m networking cable is a one-metre U/FTP (STP) Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed to the Cat7 performance standard, the cable supports high-speed data transfer and improved signal integrity thanks to foil-shielded pairs and an overall braided or foil shield. The white jacket offers a discreet appearance for home or office installations while maintaining the mechanical flexibility required for standard patching and short-link connections.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable provides enhanced electromagnetic interference protection through U/FTP shielding, reducing crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives. The factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure a consistent contact interface and simplify installation. At 1 metre in length, the cable is convenient for patch panels, switch-to-router links, workstation connections and tidy cable management in compact setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in small racks or wall-mounted enclosures
• High-speed workstation connections for data transfer, streaming and VoIP
• Short-distance links in home networks, small offices and data closets
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and stable signal quality

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance standard
• Length: 1 metre
• Shielding: U/FTP (each twisted pair individually foil-shielded, overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 terminated on both ends
• Color: White
• Suitable for Gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of a switch, router or network interface card and the other end into the corresponding device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radius recommended for twisted-pair cabling to preserve performance. For installations in electrically noisy environments, verify that the connected devices are properly grounded to get the full benefit of shielding.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short, high-performance links where shielding matters. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power runs for extended distances. For wall or ceiling permanent installations, consider cables rated specifically for in-wall use and local installation codes.
