Καλώδιο δικτύου ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 0,5 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable 0.5m is a short, shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable high-speed connections in compact setups. It uses Cat7 specification with U/FTP (STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to maintain signal integrity and reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable's 0.5 meter length is suited for close-proximity connections such as between network switches, patch panels, routers and devices on a desk. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance appropriate for both home and office environments.

Advantages

U/FTP (STP) shielding around individual pairs and overall wrapping improves resistance to crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable data transmission at higher frequencies. Short length minimizes signal attenuation and clutter when connecting devices in close proximity. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure wide compatibility with network equipment, while the Cat7 performance rating supports modern networking needs where reduced interference and higher bandwidth headroom are required.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop PC, NAS or media player to a nearby router or switch
• Short patch connections in network racks or patch panels
• Home office setups where cable length should be minimal and tidy
• Environments requiring improved electromagnetic interference protection

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Length: 0.5 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (each pair shielded, overall foil shielding)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Color: Grey
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, patching

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other connector into the corresponding port on your router, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors are inserted fully until the latch clicks to secure the connection. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and keep it away from large sources of electrical noise where possible. The short length is meant for direct point-to-point links; if you need longer runs, choose a longer cable to prevent tension.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 U/FTP cable for connections within the same rack or on a desk where reduced crosstalk and EMI are beneficial. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain bend radii recommended by networking equipment vendors to preserve shielding and connector integrity.
