Καλώδιο δικτύου shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable is a 0.25 m shielded patch cable designed for short connections in structured networks and device-to-device links. It uses U/FTP (overall unshielded braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, offering stable signal transmission for high-speed Ethernet applications. The cable's grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for office racks and home installations.

Advantages

The U/FTP (STP) shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple adjacent cables or electronic equipment. Short 0.25 m length minimises cable clutter and latency for patch-panel to switch or switch to device connections. Molded RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and durability during repeated insertions.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: U/FTP (individually foil‑shielded pairs with overall braid)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, moulded
• Colour: Grey
• Suitable for: Gigabit and multi‑Gigabit Ethernet standards
• Conductor: Solid or stranded copper conductor (standard for patch cables)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on network devices such as switches, patch panels, routers or network interface cards until the latch clicks. For optimal performance, route the cable without sharp bends and avoid prolonged contact with sources of strong electromagnetic interference. The short 0.25 m length is intended for close-proximity connections inside racks or between adjacent devices.

Recommendations

Use this Cat7 patch cable when a shielded, short connection is required to maintain signal integrity in dense cabling environments. Verify device port compatibility with RJ-45 connectors and avoid excessive mechanical stress on the cable and connectors to preserve long-term reliability.
