Καλώδιο δικτύου shiverpeaks BASIC-S 0,25 m Cat7 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 0.25 m Cat7 S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable engineered for reliable high-speed data connections in compact installations. With Cat7 performance and S/FTP (screened foiled twisted pair) shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide consistent contact and help minimize signal loss, making this 0.25 m cable suitable for linking devices where space is limited and a tidy setup is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding construction offers improved protection against outside interference compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable transmission in environments with multiple electronic devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors increase corrosion resistance and support reliable contact over repeated insertions. The short 0.25 m length reduces cable clutter and signal degradation that can occur on longer runs, while Cat7 specification enables support for high data rates when used within appropriate network equipment limits.

Key specifications

• Length: 0.25 m
• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened foil over each pair plus overall screening)
• Connectors: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Typical use: short patch cable for gigabit and multi-gigabit networks

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end of the ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 cable to the network port of your device and the other end to a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish proper contact. Use the 0.25 m length for point-to-point links where devices are in close proximity, avoiding unnecessary bending or crushing of the cable to maintain shielding effectiveness and connector integrity.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair this Cat7 S/FTP cable with shielded network equipment or properly grounded racks to ensure the shielding can dissipate interference. Avoid tight loops and sharp bends; maintain gentle bend radii and do not place heavy objects on the cable. Use this short cable for direct device-to-device connections or tidy patching in cabinets and wall outlets.
