Networking Cable S/CONN RJ45 - 2x RJ45 ShiverPeaks TC71231-8 is a short patch cable with one RJ45 plug (8/8) and two RJ45 jacks (8/8) wired 1:1. At 0.1 m length and with a black and transparent finish, this cable is designed for compact installations where a brief, direct connection or adapter-style link between network ports is required.

Advantages

The cable provides a straightforward 1:1 connection between an RJ45 plug and two RJ45 sockets, minimizing wiring complexity in tight spaces. Its short 0.1 m length reduces signal loss and clutter, while durable materials and a compact form factor support reliable data transmission and easy placement behind equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting nearby network ports or patch panels in tight racks
• Creating a short extension or splitter-style connection between devices
• Temporary or permanent links in home or small-office setups

How to use

Because the cable is very short, position devices close together and avoid sharp bends at the connector to prevent strain.

Recommendations

Use this short S/CONN RJ45 cable for close-proximity connections where a minimal-length link is needed. Avoid using it as a long-distance patch cable; verify port wiring compatibility before connecting multiple devices in series.
