Καλώδιο δικτύου ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Patch RJ-45 Cat6 5,0m λευκό

Network Cable ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Patch Cord RJ-45 Cat6 5.0m White is a Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable wired connections between network devices. The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with pair-level foil shielding and a full braid to provide S/FTP (PiMF) protection against electromagnetic interference. Both ends feature screened RJ-45 connectors with moulded kink protection and gold-plated contacts, wired 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PiMF) construction with individual pair foil and an overall braid reduces crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable high-speed data transmission. Gold-plated contacts and high-quality screened RJ-45 plugs ensure durable, low-resistance connections. The moulded kink protection and flexible cable sheath allow tight bending radii and increased longevity in typical installation environments.

Suitable for

• Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office LAN cabling between switches, routers and workstations
• Patch panels and structured cabling installations
• Applications requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Standard: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + pair foil, PiMF)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45, screened
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Wiring: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, network card) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device or patch panel. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp edges and excessive pulling; the moulded kink protection helps prevent damage at the connector ends. For best performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP patch cord for short to medium-length copper Ethernet links in environments where shielding is needed to minimise interference. For permanent in-wall installations, follow local regulations and consider using cables rated for in-wall use.
