Καλώδιο δικτύου ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 γκρι 20 m

Patch Cord ROLINE S/FTP (PiMF) Cat.6 grey 20 m is a 20-metre shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable networking connections between devices. The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with pairs individually shielded by aluminium-clad polyester foil and complete braid shielding to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Both ends are fitted with screened RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection for durability and flexible routing.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (PiMF) construction provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed data transmission suitable for Gigabit Ethernet. Gold-plated contacts and screened RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and signal integrity. The flexible jacket and moulded strain relief allow installation in confined spaces and narrow bends without compromising performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and networked devices in office and home networks
• Gigabit Ethernet links and other Cat.6-compatible networking applications
• Environments where reduced EMI and good shielding are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6
• Length: 20 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 screened (both ends)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil around each pair)
• Contact plating: gold-plated
• Wiring standard: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one screened RJ-45 plug to a network port on a switch, router or device and the other end to the corresponding port of the paired device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable without sharp kinks; use the moulded kink protection to guide the cable through bends. Maintain recommended bend radius for best signal performance and avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cord for Gigabit Ethernet or other applications requiring good shielding. Avoid excessive tension and tight bending; store and install at room temperature where possible. Replace if connectors or shielding show visible damage.
