The ROLINE Recycled Material 21.45.3248 networking cable is a 15 m Cat6a patch cable designed for high-speed 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. Constructed partly from recycled materials, it features S/FTP shielding and shielded RJ-45 connectors to minimise interference and maintain stable data transmission. The cable is blue and equipped with gold-plated contacts and moulded bend protection for reliable long-term performance.

Advantages

This Cat6a cable supports 10GBase-T performance and reduces electromagnetic interference through S/FTP shielding. Shielded RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Moulded bend protection at both ends increases mechanical durability, and the use of recycled materials lowers environmental impact while maintaining standard network performance.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN backbones and switches
• Server room and data center horizontal connections
• Workstation or network device connections requiring 10 Gigabit throughput
• Environments where reduced EMI is required (shielded links)

Key specifications

How to use

Connect one shielded RJ-45 connector to a network switch, router or network interface card and the other end to the target device. Ensure proper grounding of the shielded components in your network installation to benefit from the S/FTP shielding. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid tight cable ties to preserve the integrity of the moulded bend protection and maintain performance over time.

Recommendations

For optimal 10 Gigabit performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in fully shielded installations and pair it with compatible shielded ports and properly grounded patch panels or outlets. Avoid exceeding recommended bend radius and keep the cable clear of high-power electrical sources that could introduce interference.
