S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6A, Component Level, LSOH, black, 20 m — ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP is a 20 m networking patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor with complete braid shielding and foil-shielded pairs to minimise electromagnetic interference, and is fitted with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends.

Advantages

This patch cable provides double shielding (S/FTP) and screened RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts for stable connections and improved signal integrity. The moulded kink protection increases durability at connector joints, while the flexible construction allows for routing in confined spaces. Contact wiring follows the EIA/TIA 568 1:1 standard to ensure compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Office and server-room Ethernet connections
• High-speed Gigabit and 10 Gigabit network links
• Shielded installations where EMI reduction is required
• Horizontal and patch-panel cabling

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat6a
• Cable type/shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil-shielded pairs)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 — screened on both ends
• Contact arrangement: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Length: 20 m
• Sheath: LSOH, colour: black

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding network ports on switches, routers, patch panels or computers. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it alongside high-voltage power lines to maintain signal performance. The LSOH jacket is suitable for indoor installations where low smoke and halogen-free properties are required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded network environments and keep bend radius to the manufacturer’s recommendation (avoid tight kinks). Test links after installation to verify continuity and performance for the intended network speed.
