Καλώδιο δικτύου ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP Connector S-STP 0,5m γκρι

S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6A, Component Level, LSOH, grey, 0.5 m. The ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for connecting network devices over short distances. It supports the Cat6a standard and provides complete braid shielding with individually foil‑shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The cable uses stranded copper conductors and screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends, with gold plated contacts and moulded kink protection for durability.

Advantages

The cable is a prepared double‑shielded Twisted Pair patch cable with S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding and screened RJ‑45 connectors on both ends. It is flexible and suitable for narrow bending areas thanks to its stranded construction, and features high‑quality plugs with gold plated contacts and moulded kink protection for improved longevity. Contact wiring follows the 1:1 EIA/TIA 568 standard.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and patch panels in racks and cabinets
• Short-distance interconnects in server rooms and network closets
• High-bandwidth applications requiring Cat6a performance
• Environments needing additional shielding against EMI

Key specifications

• Brand: ROLINE
• Model / MPN: 21.15.2800
• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Conductor: 4‑pair stranded copper
• Contacts: gold plated
• Outer colour: Grey
• LSOH jacket

How to use

Plug the RJ‑45 connectors into the corresponding network ports of your devices (for example PC, switch or patch panel). Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and tight pinches; the cable’s moulded kink protection helps prevent damage at the connector ends. The 0.5 m length is intended for short patching tasks inside racks, on desks, or between adjacent devices.

Recommendations

Use this ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP patch cord for short, shielded connections where Cat6a performance and EMI protection are required. Avoid running the cable alongside strong power lines for long distances to minimise interference; keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines and do not exceed the intended 0.5 m use for long runs.
