Καλώδιο δικτύου ROLINE 21.15.1863 κίτρινο 3m Cat8.1 S/FTP

The ROLINE 21.15.1863 is a 3 m Cat8.1 network cable with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for next-generation twisted-pair cabling, this Yellow cable supports high-bandwidth short-distance applications including 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T, and is halogen-free, flame-retardant (LSOH) with GHMT certification for quality and performance.

Advantages

Cat. 8 standard enables significantly higher data rates over twisted-pair cabling and the S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for more reliable signal transmission. The cable’s LSOH jacket lowers toxic emissions in case of fire, and GHMT certification confirms compliance with performance and quality tests. The bright yellow colour facilitates easy identification and cable management.

Suitable for

• High-bandwidth short-distance server or switch interconnects
• Data centre uplinks and top-of-rack cabling
• Environments requiring halogen-free, flame-retardant cabling
• Applications requiring RJ-45 connectivity at 25GBASE-T or 40GBASE-T over short runs

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Length: 3 m
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45
• Colour: Yellow
• Safety: LSOH (halogen-free, flame-retardant)
• Certification: GHMT

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to a network switch, router or server port and the other plug to the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully seated and routed without sharp bends to maintain performance. For optimal results use this cable for short-distance links within racks or between adjacent equipment where Cat8.1 performance is required.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable primarily for short runs (typical data centre or rack-level connections). Avoid excessive bending and keep the cable away from strong EMI sources when possible. For longer runs, consider using appropriate fibre or lower-category copper solutions suited to distance requirements.
