Καλώδιο δικτύου Renkforce RF-4145289 5m Cat6a S/FTP

The Renkforce RF-4145289 5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable provides a shielded, high-speed connection between network devices. Designed for reliable data transmission, this Cat6a cable uses S/FTP (overall foil with individually braided shields) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It features standard RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and a 5-meter length suited for typical home and office installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding enhances signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent contact quality. As a Cat6a cable, it supports higher bandwidths and is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5e network hardware. The 5 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between network equipment racks and workstations.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections between routers, switches, PCs, and NAS devices
• High-speed home networks and small office setups
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment
• Applications requiring 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium distances

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individual braided shields)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 m
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Color: Grey

How to use

Connect one end of the Renkforce Cat6a cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device and the other end to the corresponding port on the router, switch, or computer. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to establish a secure connection. For optimal performance, avoid tightly bending the cable near the connectors and keep it away from high-power electrical wiring where possible. If routing through cable channels or ties, maintain gentle curves and do not compress the cable shielding.

Recommendations

Use this cable for stable, high-bandwidth links in wired networks. For distances beyond typical 5 m runs or for structured cabling in buildings, evaluate Cat6a installation practices and cable paths to preserve shielding effectiveness and data throughput.
