Καλώδιο δικτύου Microconnect SSTP615R κόκκινο 15 m Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Microconnect SSTP615R Red Cat6 15 m S/FTP is a 15-metre Cat6 networking cable designed for reliable wired connections between devices such as switches, modems, routers and wall or patch-panel outlets. Built to Cat6 specifications and tested up to 250 MHz, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 installations. The red jacket provides clear visual identification in network installations.

Advantages

This S/FTP Cat6 cable has individual pair foil and an overall braided shield to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, which helps maintain signal integrity and lower error rates. The cable is rated for Cat6 performance (tested to 250 MHz) and supports multi-gigabit speeds. It includes latch protection on the RJ45 connectors to prevent clip damage during installation in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between switches, routers, modems and patch panels
• Small office and home network installations
• Audio/video and entertainment system wiring
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and improved signal stability

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6 (tested to 250 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s (depending on network equipment)
• Colour: Red
• Backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5

How to use

Connect one RJ45-terminated end of the Microconnect SSTP615R to your network device (switch, router or modem) and the other end to the destination port, patch panel or wall outlet. Ensure the connectors fully engage until the latch clicks; the latch protection reduces the risk of clip breakage during tight installations. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic fields for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this shielded Cat6 cable with properly grounded patch panels and shielded network components where possible. Avoid excessive bending radius and keep cable runs separate from high-voltage power lines to minimize interference and maintain highest data throughput.
