The LOGON TCR55SS075W RJ-45 Cat5e 7m White networking cable is a 7-meter SF/UTP Cat5e patch cable with RJ-45 plugs on both ends. It is designed to provide reliable wired connectivity between network devices such as computers, routers, switches and patch panels. The cable combines Cat5e performance for fast data transfer with shielding that reduces interference in environments with nearby electrical or data cables. The white jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for residential and office installations.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable features SF/UTP shielding to limit electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, helping maintain signal integrity over the full 7 m length. RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with standard Ethernet ports and support typical Cat5e speeds and applications. The 7-meter length offers flexibility for routing between devices without the need for additional couplers, and the white exterior is easy to route along skirting boards or through cable management systems for a neat installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs and laptops to a router or switch
• Wiring between switches and patch panels in small office networks
• Home network setups where a 7 m reach is required
• Areas where reduced interference is needed due to nearby power or signal cables

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (foil-shielded pair with overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 7 m
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. If routing through cable trays or conduits, allow gentle curves and avoid excessive pulling force when installing.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat5e cable in local area network segments up to 7 meters and pair it with properly grounded network equipment. Avoid tight bends (less than bend radius specified by connector manufacturers) and do not exceed recommended strain limits. If higher bandwidth or future-proofing is required, consider Cat6 or higher category cables for new installations.
