Networking Cable LogiLink Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 3m Red is a 3-meter LSZH Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. The cable uses S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction with PIMF (pairs in metal foil) and bare copper conductors to ensure signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference. RJ-45 connectors on both ends provide standard compatibility with network devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding and PIMF design minimize crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections where Cat6a standards apply. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke in case of fire, and the 3 m length offers flexibility for home and office setups. The red colour aids cable identification in structured cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and network interfaces in home or office
• High-speed Ethernet applications up to Cat6a specification (10 Gbps over appropriate distances)
• Structured cabling where colour coding is required

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Cable type: Cat6a S/FTP (PIMF)
• Conductor: bare copper, AWG 26/7
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Weight: 110 g
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-C.2
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or device and the other connector into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain performance. For optimal 10 Gbps performance, observe recommended distance limits for Cat6a cabling.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs in home and office networks, and keep it away from large power cables or sources of electromagnetic interference for best results. Follow building and fire-safety regulations when installing LSZH-jacketed cables in public or commercial spaces.
