The LogiLink Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 2m Red networking cable provides 2 meters of high-speed Ethernet connection with S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. It uses a shielded twisted pair (PIMF) construction with bare copper conductors and RJ45 connectors on both ends, and the LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket minimises toxic smoke in case of fire. The cable conforms to ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards and is suitable for professional and home network installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Bare copper conductors and 26 AWG (26/7) stranded wire ensure consistent data transmission and reliable contact performance. The LSZH outer jacket provides a safer option for installations in confined or public spaces where low smoke emission is required. The 2 m length and standard RJ-45 connectors make the cable compatible with most network devices, while the red colour helps with cable identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in office or home networks
• High-speed Ethernet links up to Cat6a performance
• Patch panel and rack installations requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Cable type: Cat6a, S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair), PIMF
• Conductor: bare copper, AWG 26/7
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-C.2
• Weight: 80 g
• Colour: Red

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (for example, PC to switch or router). Ensure connectors are fully inserted and the cable is not kinked or tightly bent near the ends to maintain performance. Use the 2 m length for short runs between equipment, patch panels or wall outlets.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines for long distances and maintain gentle bend radii. Use shielded patch panels and properly grounded equipment when deploying S/FTP cabling in environments with significant electromagnetic interference.
