LogiLink Cat.6 U/UTP RJ-45 5m Black is a 5-meter networking patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. The unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction with AWG 24/7 conductor and copper-clad aluminium wire provides reliable data transmission, while the black flexible PVC jacket offers durability and easy handling. Both ends feature RJ-45 connectors compatible with standard network ports and TIA/EIA-568-B wiring.

Advantages

This Cat.6 U/UTP cable supports improved bandwidth over lower categories and is suitable for typical home and office networks. The RJ-45 connectors and copper-plated contacts ensure stable connections and reduced signal loss. The flexible PVC jacket and lightweight design simplify installation in patch panels, routers, switches, and wall ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in LAN setups
• Home and small office network cabling
• Patching between patch panels and network devices

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.6 U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
• Length: 5 m
• Conductor: AWG 24/7, copper-clad aluminium
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Jacket: Flexible PVC
• Standard: TIA/EIA-568-B wiring
• Colour: Black
• Weight: ~110–140 g (product data lists 0.14 kg; source weight 110 g)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until it clicks. Use the cable to link computers, switches, routers or patch panels. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve the integrity of the conductor and connector. For consistent performance, follow standard wiring practices and ensure connectors are fully seated.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for Ethernet standards, avoid running alongside high-voltage power lines, and secure the cable with cable ties or routing clips without compressing the jacket.
