The LogiLink C6A071S RJ-45 Cat6a 5m White networking cable is a 5-metre, S/FTP-shielded patch cable built to the Cat6a specification. It provides support for 10GBase-T cabling technology and features RJ-45 connectors on both ends for compatibility with switches, routers, network interface cards and patch panels. The white outer jacket offers a clean, unobtrusive appearance suitable for office, home and data-centre environments.

Advantages

Built with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference for more stable high-speed transmission. Cat6a specification ensures performance up to 10 Gbps over typical LAN distances while maintaining signal integrity. Standard RJ-45 terminations permit plug-and-play connection to a wide range of Ethernet devices. The 5 m length balances reach and cable management for desktop and rack installations.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections between network devices
• Patching between wall outlets, patch panels and switches
• Office and home network installations where S/FTP shielding is required
• Connecting computers, NAS, routers and network printers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Supported standard: 10GBase-T
• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: White

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks to secure the connection. Use the cable for direct device-to-device links or patching to network equipment. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and tight coils to preserve internal pair geometry. For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and strong RF sources.

Recommendations

For optimal throughput, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable when deploying 10GBase-T links or when additional shielding is needed to mitigate interference. Verify connector seating and maintain gentle bend radii; replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show visible damage.
