The LogiLink C6A052S 2m Cat6a S/FTP Grey networking cable is engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Compliant with the Cat6a standard and constructed with S/FTP shielding, this cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting 10GBase-T performance. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, providing plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The 2 m length gives flexibility for desktop or small office cable runs while the grey jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates into most installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to minimise external interference and internal crosstalk, which helps maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. The Cat6a specification supports 10GBase-T networking, enabling higher bandwidth and more stable connections compared with lower-category cables. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure wide compatibility without the need for adapters. The 2 m length provides a balance between reach and neat cable management, and the durable outer jacket protects internal conductors during installation and use.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• Patching devices in structured cabling and rack environments
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, large file transfer and online collaboration
• Temporary and permanent workstation connections where a 2 m cable is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat6a performance)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil plus individually shielded pairs
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a compatible port on a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and areas with heavy electromagnetic sources where possible. For installations in racks or along walls, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors and to maintain a tidy layout.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length within the specification limits for Ethernet runs and avoid excessive bending or kinking. When installing near powerful electrical equipment, maintain some separation from power cables to reduce potential interference despite the shielding. Use the cable for 10GBase-T-ready equipment to take full advantage of Cat6a capabilities; it also provides reliable performance for lower-speed Ethernet connections.
