The LogiLink Patch Cable Cat.5e U/UTP in black is a 5.00 m RJ45 networking cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. It uses unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction with AWG 26/7 conductors and copper-clad aluminium wire, fitted with RJ45 connectors on both ends and a flexible PVC jacket for everyday use. The cable complies with TIA/EIA-568-B wiring standard.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides stable Gigabit-capable connections for typical LAN applications while remaining flexible and lightweight. The copper-clad aluminium conductors and plated contacts offer good conductivity with reduced weight, and the standard RJ45 terminations ensure compatibility with network devices and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and modems
• Home and small office local area networks (LAN)
• Patch panels and wall ports
• Temporary cabling and equipment relocation

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.5e U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
• Length: 5.00 m
• Conductor: AWG 26/7, copper-clad aluminium
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Jacket: Flexible PVC
• Weight: 0.08 kg
• Colour: Black
• Standard: TIA/EIA-568-B

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into your network device (PC, switch or router) and the other connector into the target device or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference for best performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and keep bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter. Use this Cat5e cable for standard Ethernet up to 1000 Mbps in typical home and office environments.
