The LogiLink 50m RJ45 Cat5e U/UTP grey patch cable is a 50-metre unshielded twisted pair network cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office environments. It meets the Cat5e standard and uses U/UTP construction with AWG 26/7 conductors and copper-clad aluminium wire, offering a balance of flexibility and signal transmission suitable for typical networking tasks.

Advantages

This grey LogiLink cable features RJ45 connectors on both ends and a flexible PVC jacket that eases routing and installation. The AWG 26/7 conductor construction and copper-clad aluminium core provide adequate conductivity for Cat5e performance while keeping cable weight and cost low. The cable conforms to TIA/EIA-568-B wiring standard, ensuring compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in homes
• Office LAN installations
• Connecting switches, routers and wall sockets
• Temporary network setups and relocations

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Cable type: Cat5e U/UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair)
• Conductor: AWG 26/7, copper-clad aluminium
• Connectors: RJ45 – RJ45
• Jacket: flexible PVC
• Weight: 0.75 kg
• Standard: TIA/EIA-568-B

How to use

Route the cable between devices avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Plug the RJ45 connectors into the Ethernet ports of your router, switch or endpoint device until they click into place. For wall-mounted installations, use appropriate cable clips or cable management to secure the cable and maintain bend radius. Test the connection with network tools to confirm link speed and stability.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines; keep distances from heavy electrical equipment and use cable management to prevent kinks. This Cat5e U/UTP cable is suitable for typical 100 Mbps and Gigabit-ready short-distance links, subject to network equipment capabilities.
