LogiLink Networking Cable Cat.6 S/FTP PrimeLine, 3.00 m, white, is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. The cable uses S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) construction with PIMF shielding and bare copper conductors, and it meets ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1 standards. The 3.00 m length and RJ45 connectors on both ends make it suitable for connecting routers, switches, PCs and other network devices while the LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket reduces toxic fumes in case of fire.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF design provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. Bare copper conductors and AWG 27/7 stranded conductors ensure consistent signal quality. LSZH jacket material minimizes smoke and halogen emissions. Compliance with established international standards guarantees compatibility with Cat.6 network infrastructure.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Office workstation cabling and patch panels
• Structured Cat.6 installations requiring shielded cables
• Short to medium cable runs (up to 3 m) between network equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF)
• Conductor: Bare copper, AWG 27/7
• Connector: RJ45 — both ends
• Length: 3.00 m
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Weight: 110 g
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connector into the network port of your device and the other end into a router, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a proper connection. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid running it parallel to high-power electrical lines to reduce interference. For fixed installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable for short to medium connections where improved shielding is needed; verify that connected equipment supports Cat.6 performance and avoid exposure to excessive heat or mechanical stress to maintain cable integrity.
