The LogiLink 2m Cat.6A RJ-45 S/FTP networking cable is a 2-metre shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and features RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable uses bare copper conductors, PIMF (pair in metal foil) S/FTP shielding and an LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket, and complies with ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction (individually foil-shielded pairs plus overall braid) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in demanding network environments. Cat.6A specification and AWG 26/7 conductors enable stable 10 Gbit/s performance over short distances. The LSZH jacket minimizes toxic fumes in case of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor installations where low smoke emissions are required.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections (10 Gbit/s over short runs)
• Office and home networking between switches, routers and PCs
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference
• Indoor installations requiring LSZH cabling

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Category: Cat.6A
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF with overall braid)
• Conductor: Bare copper, AWG 26/7
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-C.2
• Color: Grey
• Weight: 80 g

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch or PC) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a proper link. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and heavy mechanical stress; keep it away from power lines where possible to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 Gbit/s performance, use this Cat.6A cable for runs within typical office lengths (up to 30–50 metres for consistent performance depending on environment). For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management and avoid tight bundling with unshielded power or signal cables to preserve shielding effectiveness.
