The LogiLink 1m Cat.6A 10G S/FTP patch cable is a shielded RJ45 networking cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. It uses S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) construction with PIMF (Pair in Metal Foil) shielding and bare copper conductors, and features an LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket for reduced toxic emissions in case of fire. The cable complies with ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards.

Advantages

The cable supports 10 Gbps performance for Cat.6A applications and provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to S/FTP PIMF shielding. Its RJ45 connectors and AWG 26/7 stranded conductors ensure reliable connections and flexibility, while the LSZH jacket lowers smoke and halogen emissions. The 1.00 m length and lightweight construction (approx. 40 g) make it convenient for patching in racks, wall outlets or desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in home or small office networks
• Short-distance 10 Gigabit Ethernet links (up to standard Cat.6A limits)
• Structured cabling patching in equipment racks and workstations

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6A, supports 10 Gbps
• Construction: S/FTP (PIMF) shielded twisted pair
• Conductor: bare copper, AWG 26/7
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Length: 1.00 m
• Weight: approx. 40 g
• Compliance: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-C.2
• Colour: White

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other into the target port (patch panel, wall socket or another device). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; secure with cable ties if needed. For best performance, avoid excessive pulling tension and maintain the cable length within recommended limits for Cat.6A installations.

Recommendations

For 10 Gbps links, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable for short, shielded patching runs within racks or between nearby equipment. Avoid running shielded patch cables in parallel with high-voltage power lines; terminate and test connections according to your network cabling standards.
