LogiLink 0.5m Cat.6 S/FTP patch cable in black is a short RJ45 networking cable designed for high-speed data transmission between devices in home and office environments. The cable uses S/FTP (shielded overall with individually foil‑shielded pairs) construction with bare copper conductors and an LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket, meeting ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1 standards.

Advantages

The S/FTP PIMF design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet. Bare copper conductors and AWG 27/7 stranded construction provide reliable conductivity and flexibility. The LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, and the compact 0.5 m length minimizes excess cable for tidy installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers at short distances
• Patch panels and wall outlets in office or home networks
• Environments requiring shielded connections to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil‑shielded pairs), PIMF
• Conductor: bare copper, AWG 27/7 stranded
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1
• Colour: Black
• Weight: approx. 20 g

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports of your devices (for example, a computer to a switch or a router). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the 0.5 m length for connections where devices are close together to avoid cable slack and maintain an organized workspace.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable, keep the cable away from heavy sources of electromagnetic interference (large power cables, transformers), and ensure connectors are undamaged before use.
