Καλώδιο δικτύου Lindy Cat.6 SSTP / S/FTP PIMF Premium 7,5 m

Cat.6 S/FTP (SSTP/PIMF) networking cable, 7.5 m length, grey sheath. Designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and suitable for Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and features a braid overall shield with foil shield on each twisted pair, gold-plated contacts and a snagless strain relief. The halogen-free LSZH sheath reduces smoke and eliminates toxic halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for use in public areas.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design (braid plus foil on individual pairs) and PIMF construction minimize electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable Gigabit Ethernet connections. Gold-plated contacts provide corrosion-resistant, long-lasting contact performance, while the snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during installation and removal. The LSZH outer sheath offers low smoke and halogen-free properties for safer use in enclosed or public spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and computers for Gigabit Ethernet (1GBase-T)
• AV extension and professional network installations requiring reduced interference
• Public buildings and installations where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.6 (ISO/IEC 11801 compliant)
• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair), PIMF
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Maximum supported Ethernet: 1GBase-T
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to your network device (router, switch or computer) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the snagless strain relief reduces the risk of latch damage during insertion and removal. Route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference where possible and avoid sharp bends to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best performance in installations with potential interference, use this S/FTP Cat.6 cable instead of unshielded alternatives and avoid running it parallel to mains power cables. In public or enclosed spaces, prefer the LSZH version to reduce smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire.
