Network Cable Lindy 5m Cat.6 RJ-45 U/UTP Violet is a Cat.6 U/UTP PVC cable designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and supports Ethernet standards up to 1GBase-T. The cable has RJ-45 connectors at both ends, gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance and stable signal transmission, and a snagless strain relief to protect the connector latch during installation and removal. It is manufactured and tested according to ISO/IEC 11801 and is supplied individually in a polybag.

Advantages

The Lindy Cat.6 cable provides reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance despite being unshielded thanks to optimized electrophysical parameters (NExT, FExT, etc.). Gold-plated contacts increase durability and reduce corrosion. The snagless design reduces the risk of connector damage during repeated installations, while the 5 m length offers flexible placement in home and office setups.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Home and small office network cabling
• Connecting switches, routers, PCs and networked devices
• Environments where a 5 m cable length is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 U/UTP
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded)
• Ethernet standard: up to 1GBase-T (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Material: PVC jacket
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: Violet
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router or PC) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the snagless strain relief helps protect the connector latch during insertion and removal.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep it away from strong electromagnetic interference sources. Replace the cable if connectors or jacket show visible damage.
