Network Cable Lindy 5m Cat.6 RJ-45 U/UTP White is a Cat.6 U/UTP PVC Ethernet cable designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and compatible with Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T). The cable is 5 m long, white, terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, and manufactured according to ISO/IEC 11801. Individual packaging in a polybag preserves the cable until installation.

Advantages

The unshielded U/UTP design provides the electrophysical parameters required for Gigabit Ethernet despite the lack of shielding. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and provide reliable, low-resistance connections. The robust snagless strain relief protects the connector latch during insertion and removal, improving durability and ease of installation.

Suitable for

• Wired home network connections
• Office desktop to network switch or router connections
• Connecting network devices requiring Gigabit Ethernet speeds
• Structured cabling installations complying with ISO/IEC 11801

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6 (U/UTP)
• Bandwidth / Operating frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Jacket material: PVC
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: White
• Standards: manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (for example, computer and switch or router). Ensure connectors click fully into place; the snagless strain relief prevents latch damage when inserting or removing the cable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress to maintain signal integrity and prolong cable life.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep the cable within its rated bend radius. Use Cat.6-rated patch panels and connectors when integrating the cable into structured cabling to preserve Gigabit performance.
