Καλώδιο δικτύου Lindy 47868 κίτρινο 10 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47868 networking cable is a 10 m Cat6A S/FTP Ethernet cable designed for network installations that require support for up to 10 GBase-T and an operating frequency up to 500 MHz. The cable includes gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a snagless strain-relief design. The outer sheath is halogen-free (LSZH), reducing smoke and toxic emissions for use in public spaces. The cable is supplied individually in a polybag and is coloured yellow for increased visibility.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines a braided overall shield with foil shields around each twisted pair to reduce crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable, low-loss connections. The snagless connector design protects the latch during installation and removal, and the LSZH outer sheath minimises smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections (10GBase-T)
• Structured cabling in offices and data closets
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling (public buildings)
• Visible cable runs where colour identification is useful (yellow)

Key specifications

• Shielding: S/FTP (braid overall + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth / Frequency: up to 500 MHz
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cable sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to a compatible network port (switch, router, patch panel or network card) and the other end to the device to be networked. Ensure connectors click into place and avoid excessive bending near the connector and along the cable run. For optimal performance maintain proper separation from strong electrical sources and follow standard structured cabling practices when routing and terminating the cable.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy 47868 Cat6A S/FTP cable for backbone or horizontal runs where 10 GBase-T performance is required. Do not exceed the recommended bend radius, and store the cable in its polybag until installation to prevent contamination of the connectors.
