Καλώδιο δικτύου Lindy 47862 κίτρινο 1 m Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP)

The Lindy 47862 is a 1 m Cat6A S/FTP networking cable designed for high-speed Ethernet up to 10GBase-T with an operating frequency up to 500 MHz. It features RJ‑45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, a snagless strain relief design and an LSZH (halogen-free) outer sheath. The cable is shielded with an overall braid plus foil around each twisted pair to reduce interference and is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 standards. The bright yellow jacket aids identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

Shielding (S/FTP) provides improved protection against electromagnetic and crosstalk interference while gold-plated RJ‑45 contacts resist corrosion for stable long-term connections. The snagless connector housing helps prevent latch damage during installation and removal. The LSZH outer sheath limits smoke and eliminates halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for installations in public or enclosed spaces where low-smoke characteristics are required.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBase-T) connections up to 1 m
• Structured cabling in offices, data centres and telecom racks
• Environments requiring low-smoke, halogen-free cabling
• Patch panels, switches and network devices with RJ‑45 ports

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6A (ISO/IEC 11801 compliant)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil per pair)
• Bandwidth: up to 500 MHz
• Data rate: supports 10GBase-T
• Connectors: RJ‑45 to RJ‑45 with gold-plated contacts
• Cable length: 1 m
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 end to a network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and route the cable without sharp bends to maintain performance. For best results, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment.

Recommendations

Use the Lindy 47862 for short patch connections where shielded Cat6A performance and low-smoke halogen-free jacketing are required; replace if the connector or sheath shows visible damage to maintain signal integrity.
