Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 20 m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 20m is a magenta-coloured networking cable designed for high-speed Ethernet installations. With S/FTP shielding and CAT 6a specification, the cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its 20 m length provides flexible placement options for connecting switches, routers, patch panels and end devices in offices, data closets and home networks.

Advantages

S/FTP (PIMF) construction offers individual foil shielding for each twisted pair plus an overall braided shield, reducing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in noisy environments. The CAT 6a rating ensures support for 10GBase-T applications over the full 20 m length. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation and provide reliable contact for consistent signal transmission. The magenta jacket improves cable identification in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T Ethernet links between switches and servers
• High-bandwidth workstations, media servers and NAS devices
• Patching in network cabinets and data centers
• Home and small office networks requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braided shield)
• Supported standard: 10GBase-T
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other connector to the target device such as a server, workstation or NAS. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong compression; maintain bend radius recommended for CAT 6a cable to preserve signal integrity. For installations in electrically noisy environments, connect equipment to a common ground where appropriate to complement the cable's shielding.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with power lines for long distances and keep separation from large sources of electromagnetic interference. Use labeled cable management and color-coded identification in structured cabling to take advantage of the magenta colour for quick identification. Periodically inspect connectors and cable jacket for physical damage and replace the cable if the shielding or connector integrity is compromised.
