Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 1m

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 1m networking cable is a one-metre grey patch cable designed for reliable wired connections between network devices. Constructed to Cat6 standards, the cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet and features RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its S/FTP (shielded foil with individually foil‑wrapped pairs, PIMF) design helps reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, ensuring stable data transmission and consistent performance in typical home and office environments.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP (PIMF) shielding provides enhanced protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, improving signal integrity for high-speed data transfer. Built to Cat6 specification, it is suitable for gigabit Ethernet and offers improved bandwidth and lower attenuation over short runs. The pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors deliver plug-and-play convenience and consistent contact quality. The neutral grey colour makes the cable unobtrusive in rack, desktop, and living-space installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches, routers and IP devices within a local network
• Gigabit Ethernet links in home, small office or server cabinet setups
• Patch panel to switch connections in structured cabling systems
• Areas where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid/foil and individually foil‑wrapped pairs, PIMF)
• Category: Cat6
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device (for example a computer, router or switch) and plug the other connector into the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable and keep it away from heavy sources of electromagnetic noise such as large transformers or unshielded power lines.

Recommendations

Use the Helos CAT6 S/FTP 1m cable for short, high‑speed links where shielding is beneficial. For structured cabling, label both ends and route the cable following standard cable management practices; avoid running parallel to mains power for extended distances to minimise residual interference.
