Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 7,5 m

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 7.5m networking cable is a 7.5 meter Cat5e cable designed for structured cabling and device connections. It uses SF/UTP construction — a braided foil shield around all pairs with an overall screen — to reduce electromagnetic interference and improve signal stability compared with unshielded cables. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors and the cable is finished in green for easy identification within patch panels, racks, or mixed wiring environments.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference and crosstalk, which helps maintain reliable data transmission in environments with electrical noise. The Cat5e specification supports Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over typical installation distances. A 7.5 m length offers flexibility for desktop, office, or home installations where a mid-range cable run is required. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with network switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to switches or routers
• Patch connections in wall outlets, patch panels, or small racks
• Office or home networks requiring mid-length cables
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielded cables are preferred

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (braided + foil overall shield)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Green
• Typical supported speeds: up to 1 Gbps (depending on network equipment and distance)

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (PC, laptop, switch, or router) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the network infrastructure or peripheral. Avoid tight bends or kinks near the connectors and keep the cable routed away from high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. If using within a shielded installation, ensure proper grounding of shields at patch panels or equipment as required by your site practices.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 7.5m cable within recommended cable management practices: avoid sharp bends, maintain service loops rather than tight knots, and verify connector seating. In installations with significant EMI, pair this cable with properly grounded shielded connectors and panels to optimize noise rejection.
