Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 5 m

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 5m networking cable is a 5 metre Cat5e standard patch cable with SF/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for typical home and office networks, the cable supports reliable wired Ethernet connections and reduces external electromagnetic interference thanks to its overall foil and braided shield configuration. The bright blue jacket provides easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

The SF/UTP shielding improves noise immunity compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain stable data transfer in environments with potential interference from nearby electrical equipment. Cat5e specification ensures compatibility with Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over short distances while RJ-45 terminations offer broad compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The 5 m length covers typical desk-to-switch distances without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers and IP phones to a network switch
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment in small offices
• Temporary or permanent cabling in home networking setups
• Cable management where coloured cables help identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (overall foil with braided shield)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor type: twisted pair
• Jacket colour: blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it away from power cables where possible to reduce interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable with cable ties or clips at regular intervals and keep excess length coiled without sharp folds. Test the connection after installation using a network device to confirm link and speed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance maintain bend radii greater than four times the cable diameter, avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines, and choose shielded terminations or grounded patch panels in environments with significant electromagnetic noise.
