Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 3m

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 3m networking cable provides a 3 meter connection with SF/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for standard Ethernet networks, this blue cable supports CAT5e performance levels while the braided/foil shielding reduces electromagnetic interference in environments with multiple signal sources. Its flexible jacket and standard RJ-45 plugs make it suitable for connecting computers, switches, routers and patch panels in home and office setups.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding combines overall foil with individual pair unshielded construction to lower interference from adjacent cables and nearby electronic devices, improving signal stability over short runs. The CAT5e specification enables reliable data transmission for common network speeds and applications, and the 3 m length gives a balance between reach and cable management. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with typical networking equipment, while the blue colour helps visually organise cabling runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs and laptops to a router or switch
• Patch panel and switch-to-switch links within wiring closets
• Home network setups for internet access and local file sharing
• Office workstations requiring reliable short-distance Ethernet connections

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT5e
• Shielding: SF/UTP (overall foil + individual pairs unshielded)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port on your devices until the plug locks in place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension that could damage the conductors or connectors. For tidy installations use cable clips or ties and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference. When disconnecting, press the connector tab before pulling to avoid damaging the clip.

Recommendations

Use this CAT5e SF/UTP cable for short to medium-length Ethernet connections where some additional shielding is desirable. For environments with heavy electromagnetic interference or for higher network speeds, consider higher category or fully shielded cables and compare specifications to match application requirements.
