Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 1m πράσινο

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 1m Green is a 1-metre networking cable built to the Cat5e specification with SF/UTP shielding. It features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a green outer sheath for easy identification in patch panels or cable runs. The SF/UTP construction combines a foil shield with an overall braid to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over short to medium distances.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding improves resistance to crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, resulting in more stable data transmission in environments with electrical noise. The 1 m length suits tidy desk- or rack-level connections where excess cable should be avoided. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure straightforward plug-and-play connection to network switches, routers and patch panels. The green jacket simplifies visual identification among multiple cables.

Suitable for

• Desktop connections between devices and nearby switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch short links in office racks
• Clean cable management where colour-coded cabling is used
• Environments with moderate EMI where improved shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat5e
• Shielding type: SF/UTP (foil around pairs with overall braid)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Green
• Suitable for: 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) typical deployments over short distances

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the natural bend radius and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines where possible. For rack installations, secure excess length with Velcro ties or cable management panels to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m SF/UTP cable for short, high-quality connections where shielding helps protect the link from nearby electrical noise. Avoid sharp bends and prolonged tension on the cable to preserve performance and connector integrity.
