Καλώδιο δικτύου Helos Cat 5e SF/UTP 0,5 m κίτρινο

The Helos Cat 5e SF/UTP 0.5 m Yellow networking cable provides a short, shielded connection suitable for local Ethernet links. Built to Cat5e standard with S-FTP (overall braid plus individually foil‑shielded pairs) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains stable data transmission between RJ-45 equipped devices. Its compact 0.5 m length and yellow jacket make it practical for patching in network cabinets, connecting nearby devices, or colour-coding connections in home and office environments.

Advantages

The SF/UTP shielding enhances protection against external noise and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity in environments with electrical interference. Cat5e performance supports Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet up to the standard limits, while the fixed 0.5 m length minimises excess cable clutter. RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with a wide range of network equipment and make the cable easy to install without tools.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and routers in a rack or small cabinet
• Connecting a desktop computer or NAS to a nearby network port
• Colour-coded cable runs for organised home or office networks
• Temporary setups where a short, shielded link is needed

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Shielding: S-FTP (overall braid with foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network ports on your devices until you hear or feel the latch engage. Use the cable for short runs where minimal slack is desired; avoid sharp bends or kinks near the connectors to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For rack installations, route the cable through cable management panels or guide clips to prevent strain and maintain orderly airflow.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable length within the specified 0.5 m and avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines. If additional shielding or longer runs are required, consider a higher-category or longer shielded cable. Inspect connectors periodically for secure seating and visible damage, and replace the cable if shielding or connector housings are compromised.
