The Goobay RJ45 Patch Cord CAT 6A S/FTP 2m in grey is a high-performance network cable designed for fast, stable data transmission. Constructed with high-quality copper conductors, S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ45 plugs, the cable supports data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding video and network applications, including 8K @ 60 Hz and 4K @ 120 Hz. The 2 m length and robust LSZH halogen-free outer sheath provide a safe, flexible connection for home or business networks.

Advantages

This CAT 6A S/FTP patch cord offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference thanks to S/FTP shielding and individually screened pairs. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure reliable contact and reduced corrosion over time. The LSZH halogen-free sheath minimizes harmful emissions in case of fire and the copper inner conductors deliver consistent signal integrity for high-speed transmissions up to 10000 Mbit/s.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (up to 10 Gbit/s)
• Connecting network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels
• High-resolution video transmission (8K @ 60 Hz, 4K @ 120 Hz)
• Home and office network installations

• Length: 2 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated
• Conductor material: copper (CU)
• Sheath: LSZH halogen-free, colour grey
• Brand: GOOBAY, MPN: 91603, EAN: 4040849916038

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into your network switch, router or wall outlet and the other into the device you wish to connect (PC, NAS, console, etc.). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain. For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as unshielded power lines.

Recommendations

For best results in 10 Gbit/s networks, use within the specified 2 m length and avoid excessive bending or crushing. When installing in permanent infrastructure, verify network components support CAT 6A performance and consider strain relief at patch panels and device ports.
