Καλώδιο δικτύου GOOBAY CAT 5e U/UTP 305 m, γκρι

GOOBAY CAT 5e U/UTP network cable on a 305 m reel in grey is an unscreened twisted-pair cable designed for Ethernet and general networking applications. Supplied without connectors, the cable is intended for custom-terminated links, in-wall installations and permanent runs where a continuous length of cable is required. The construction follows Category 5e specifications to support fast data transmission suitable for typical home and office networks.

Advantages

The cable provides consistent performance over long runs thanks to its Category 5e twisted-pair design, enabling reliable signal transmission for 100BASE-TX and common network setups. As an unshielded U/UTP cable, it is flexible and easy to route through conduits or wall cavities and is suitable for termination on RJ45 connectors and patch panels. The 305 m reel format reduces the need for multiple joins and minimizes signal loss points in structured cabling installations.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 5e (unshielded twisted pair)
• Cable type: U/UTP, four twisted pairs
• Length: 305 m on reel
• Colour: Grey
• Connectors: none supplied (for custom termination)

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 305 m reel, then strip the outer sheath to expose the four twisted pairs. Untwist pairs only as much as necessary for termination and follow the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B) when fitting RJ45 plugs or punching down onto a patch panel. Secure the cable runs with clips or ties, maintain bend radius recommendations and avoid running parallel to power cables to reduce interference. Test each terminated link with a cable tester to verify continuity and pair integrity before completing installation.

Recommendations

Use this GOOBAY CAT 5e U/UTP cable for structured cabling where shielded cable is not required. For installations near sources of electrical interference or where higher bandwidth is needed, consider using shielded or higher-category cabling. Store the reel in a dry environment and avoid sharp bends or crushing during installation to preserve transmission characteristics.
